Terms & Conditions – Tip Top Nails Studio
1. About These Terms
By booking an appointment with Tip Top Nails Studio, you agree fully to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully – booking means you accept all rules below.
We operate from a rented, professional space – all fees and policies cover fixed costs of running the studio, including rent, hygiene products, equipment and insurance.
2. Appointments & Booking
• We offer flexible booking: last-minute appointments, late hours and weekends – this is an extra convenience we provide for you, not an obligation. We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule any booking without explanation.
• Note regarding appointment duration:
Please be aware that sometimes an appointment may take longer than originally planned. This is due to natural circumstances related to the service – for example, your nail condition, skin type, unexpected issues that may appear during work, or the need to ensure every detail is done perfectly. This extra time is always to guarantee high quality and a long-lasting effect – please do not get upset or worried if this happens.
✅ When booking: If you have limited time or a tight schedule, please consider that your visit may be slightly extended – plan enough time for your appointment in advance.
✅ If you already booked: If you have strict plans or another commitment right after your visit, YOU MUST inform me BEFORE we start the service. We can then discuss options: rescheduling, adjusting the service, or moving to another date/time that suits you better. We will always find the best solution together.
• Bookings can be made online, by phone or in person. Some services require a consultation before starting.
3. Cancellation / Rescheduling:
Minimum 48 hours’ notice is required.
o If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the service price is charged immediately.
o If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice: 100% of the service price is charged.
4. Arrival & Punctuality:
o Please arrive on time – we run appointments exactly as planned to keep our calm, spa-like atmosphere.
o If you arrive more than 10 minutes late: we will shorten your service without reducing the price, or we may reschedule and charge 50% fee.
o If you are rushing, hurrying us or asking to speed up the service: we will inform you immediately that we CANNOT guarantee quality, durability or perfect result – because our work requires precision and calm. If you continue to pressure us, we may stop the service, charge full price, and no refunds or complaints will be accepted.
o No-show: Full service price charged immediately – no exceptions.
• We reserve the right to refuse service:
o If you have contagious conditions, infections, open wounds or skin problems.
o If you behave disrespectfully, use pressure, argue or create an uncomfortable atmosphere – our studio is a calm, relaxing space, and we protect our peace and safety.
o If you have previously made unfair claims, demanded refunds or caused problems.
5. Payment
• Payment is due before or at the end of the appointment – no exceptions.
• Prices are listed on our website: www.tiptopnails.jena.site. Prices may change – the current price is always the one at the time of booking.
• All prices cover: professional products, sterilised tools, rent and maintenance of the studio, hygiene standards and our time and skills.
• Tips are optional but appreciated.
6. Service Quality & Guarantees
• We work with the highest precision, in clean, sterile conditions – no one stands over your shoulder or rushes you, and we never rush our work. This is our standard to give you the best results.
• Before we start: You must confirm the design, shape, colour and length. We will explain what is possible and what is not. After starting, changes are not possible, and no complaints about “different than expected” will be accepted.
7. Guarantee policy:
o We give a 2-day guarantee only against normal chipping, peeling or lifting – IF you followed our aftercare instructions exactly.
o Guarantee applies only if:
You did NOT rush us, pressure us or shorten the service.
You arrived on time, and we had full time to work.
You did not bite, pick or use nails as tools.
You did not expose nails to harsh chemicals or water without protection.
YOU DID NOT perform any work on your nails yourself: NO filing, NO removing, NO fixing, NO picking or any other actions at home or elsewhere.
YOU DID NOT intentionally damage, scratch, break or ruin your nails to make them look worse or to create a reason for complaint.
o What is NOT covered (NO EXCEPTIONS):
If you started filing, removing, fixing or “tinkering” with your nails yourself at home or anywhere else – guarantee becomes VOID immediately.
If you intentionally damaged or destroyed your nails on purpose to worsen their appearance or to claim they are “badly done” a guarantee does NOT apply, and no complaints will be accepted.
Any damage caused by your actions, rushing, pressure or wrong aftercare.
Regular nail polish (by nature, it wears off faster).
Designs that are complex, thin or hand-painted – they are artistic, not indestructible.
NO GUARANTEE if you were late, hurried us or interrupted our work.
• If you are unhappy:
o Tell us IMMEDIATELY, before leaving the studio – we will try to fix small issues on the spot.
o After leaving: NO claims, complaints or “I am unhappy” will be accepted – you checked and approved everything before going home.
o Repairs only: Within guarantee period – free repair once, at agreed time. No other options.
8. Refunds – CLEAR RULE
❌ WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
• Completed services are final.
• Even if you say “I am unhappy”, “I don’t like it” or “it’s not what I wanted” – money will NOT be returned.
• Especially: if you modified, filed, removed or damaged your nails yourself, you have NO right to any claim, repair or refund.
• We only offer repair (as per guarantee rules), never money back.
• This is because we have already covered costs: rent, products, sterilisation, our time and skills – these costs are incurred once the appointment is made and work is done.
9. Health, Safety & Hygiene
• We follow the strictest hygiene and sterilisation standards: all tools are fully sterilised or disposable, and surfaces are disinfected after every client. Cleanliness and safety are our priority – you can see it and trust it.
• Inform us about allergies, skin or health issues before starting. If you don’t tell us, we are not responsible for any reactions.
• We will not work on infected, inflamed or damaged nails/skin – we will refer you to a doctor.
10. Your Responsibilities
• Keep your personal belongings safe at all times – we are not liable for loss or damage.
• Children are welcome in the studio, HOWEVER it is YOUR sole responsibility to watch and supervise them at all times. If any accident, injury or harm happens to your child, YOU take full responsibility – we are NOT liable or responsible in any way.
• You agree to respect our work, our time and our calm atmosphere: no rushing, no pressure, no arguing, no standing over our shoulder while working.
• You agree NOT to modify, file, remove or damage your nails after leaving – any such action ends all our responsibility and rights to help you.
• You are fully responsible if you hide health issues or allergies before your appointment.
11. Working Locations
• We work from rented studio space and as a mobile service. All terms apply equally.
• Fixed costs (rent, insurance, utilities) are the same regardless of whether you come or cancel – that is why cancellation fees are necessary and non-negotiable.
12. Your Data
• We store your personal information only for booking purposes – it is kept secure and never shared with third parties.
13. Changes
• We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version is always available on our website.
