Terms & Conditions – Tip Top Nails Studio
1. About These Terms:
By booking any appointment with Tip Top Nails Studio, you irrevocably agree to be fully bound by these Terms & Conditions without exception, modification, or negotiation. Please read every clause carefully — completing a booking constitutes your unconditional acceptance of all rules, fees, and policies stated below.
Our studio operates from a professionally rented space; all pricing, deposits, and charges are calculated to cover fixed business costs, including rent, commercial insurance, hygiene supplies, sterilised equipment, utilities, and professional expertise.
No fees are discretionary, and no refunds or waivers will be granted outside the narrow exceptions listed here.
2. Duration of Services:
# All service durations listed on our booking platform are **estimates only** and not guaranteed.
# Actual service time may be extended for reasons entirely beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Your late arrival to the scheduled appointment
- The need for repairs, corrections, or extra work discovered during treatment
- Individual differences in nail condition, skin type, or nail structure
- Additional work required to meet safety, hygiene, or quality standards
# Under no circumstances shall the Studio be liable or responsible for exceeding the estimated duration in any of these situations.
You accept that extra time may be required to deliver safe, high-quality results.
**Important Note on Timing:**
-Appointments may take longer than planned due to natural service requirements — for example, your nail health, skin sensitivity, unforeseen issues during work, or our commitment to precision and perfection.
-This extra time is always used to ensure long-lasting, safe results. You agree not to make complaints, demands, or claims related to extended service time.
# If you have a tight schedule or limited time available, **you must plan for possible delays in advance**.
# If you have commitments immediately after your visit, **YOU ARE OBLIGED TO INFORM US BEFORE SERVICE BEGINS**.
We may then offer to reschedule, adjust the service scope, or move your booking — no complaints about timing will be accepted if you fail to notify us beforehand.
# Bookings may be made online, by phone, or in person. Certain services require a mandatory pre-service consultation.
3. Appointments & Booking
# We offer flexible booking options including last-minute slots, evening hours, and weekend appointments — these are **conveniences we provide, not legal obligations**.
# We reserve the absolute right to refuse, cancel, or reschedule any booking at any time, for any reason, and without explanation or liability.
4. Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy — NON-NEGOTIABLE
# A minimum of **48 hours’ written or verbal notice** is required for all cancellations or changes.
# Cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice: **50% of the full service price is charged immediately and without exception**.
# Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice: **100% of the full service price is charged immediately and without exception**.
#Rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment is treated as a late cancellation and subject to the same fees.
**IMPORTANT REGARDING ILLNESS OR POOR HEALTH:**
If you cancel because you are sick or feeling unwell — while we are genuinely sorry and sympathise with your situation — **this does NOT exempt you from our late cancellation rules**.
Symptoms of illness or poor health almost always develop or become noticeable well before your appointment time.
Even if you cannot attend due to sickness, discomfort, or medical reasons, our 48-hour and 24-hour cancellation policy **will be fully enforced and applies exactly the same**.
#No exceptions, waivers, or refunds will be made for cancellations due to illness or health issues.
5. Arrival & Punctuality
# You must arrive **exactly on time**. Our schedule is strictly maintained to preserve a calm, safe, and relaxing environment.
#Arrival more than **10 minutes late** will result in one or more of the following, at our sole discretion:
- Reduction of service scope or content **with no reduction in price**
- Mandatory extra charge for additional working time
- Full cancellation of your appointment **with retention of any deposit and charge of 50% of the service price**
#If you rush us, demand faster work, or pressure us to speed up:
- We will immediately inform you that **we CANNOT guarantee quality, durability, safety, or satisfactory results** — our work requires precision, care, and time.
- If you continue to pressure or rush us, **we may stop the service immediately, charge you the full price, and you will have no right to refunds, complaints, or claims of any kind**.
#**No-show (failure to attend without notice): 100% of the service price is charged instantly — NO EXCEPTIONS.**
#**Right to Refuse Service:** We reserve the right to decline service at any time if:
- You have contagious conditions, infections, open wounds, inflammation, or active skin disorders
- You behave disrespectfully, aggressively, or disrupt our calm atmosphere; argue, threaten, or create discomfort for staff or other clients
- You have previously made unfair claims, demanded refunds without basis, or caused problems for our business
- You hide health issues or allergies that affect safety or service suitability
6. CHILDREN — STRICT RULES & AGE LIMITS
✅ **UV Gel Services**: Minimum age **16 years old** — NO EXCEPTIONS.
A signed written consent form is **mandatory** and available in the studio before service.
A parent or legal guardian **does not need to be present** during the appointment, but their fully completed, signed consent form **must be received before the service starts**.
Without this document, we cannot perform the service.
✅ **Standard Polish (no UV lamp)**: Available only for ages **9–15 years**.
Removal of this product is **entirely your responsibility** — you must purchase acetone-free nail remover yourself, available at all high-street drugstores.
We do not provide removal services or products for this treatment.
✅ **Children’s Special Polish**: Available only for ages **5–8 years**.
This is an eco-friendly, non-toxic product designed exclusively for children. **
No UV lamp is used**, and there are **no chemical additives or harsh ingredients**.
Removal is done simply by soaking hands in warm water — no remover or tools are required.
We accept no liability for misuse or incorrect removal.
✅ **General Rule for Children**:
Children are welcome, but **you are 100% responsible for their supervision, safety, and behaviour at all times**.
Any accident, injury, or damage caused by a child is your sole responsibility — we are not liable under any circumstances.
7. Payment & Refunds
✅ **Payment is due in full before or immediately upon completion of service — NO EXTENSIONS, NO INSTALMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS.**
✅ Prices are published at: www.tiptopnails.jena.site. Prices may change without notice; the price valid is the one applicable at the time of booking.
✅ All prices cover professional products, fully sterilised or disposable tools, studio rent, hygiene standards, insurance, and our time and skill.
✅ Tips are voluntary but greatly appreciated.
✅ **Deposits & Refunds Policy — FINAL & BINDING**
- Any deposit paid at booking secures your slot and is **NON-REFUNDABLE** if you cancel, reschedule late, or fail to attend.
- Once a service is completed and accepted (per Section 8), the full amount paid is **NON-REFUNDABLE**.
- Refunds will only be issued if explicitly required by UK consumer law — and in no other circumstances.
**CLEAR REFUND POLICY — NO EXCEPTIONS**
**WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON BEYOND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS.**
Completed services are final.
Statements such as *“I am unhappy”, “I don’t like it”, “It’s not what I wanted”*, or similar complaints **do not entitle you to any refund**.
If you file, remove, repair, or damage your nails yourself, or allow others to do so, **you lose all rights to claims, repairs, or refunds**.
We only offer repairs under our guarantee terms — **NO MONEY IS EVER RETURNED**.
All costs (rent, products, sterilisation, labour) are incurred once work begins — these costs cannot be reversed or recovered.
8. Complaints, Satisfaction & Final Acceptance
✅ **YOU MUST inspect and check your nails immediately upon completion, BEFORE leaving the studio premises.**
✅ **ALL concerns, dissatisfaction, or comments regarding colour choice, colour consistency, coverage, design, shape, or length MUST be raised at that exact moment.**
✅ **If you leave the studio without raising any issue, it is deemed that you are 100% satisfied, have fully accepted the result, and confirm everything is correct. No complaints, claims, or requests made after you leave will be considered or accepted.**
✅ If you are still unhappy after leaving, we may offer to re-paint or adjust your nails **ONLY IF you book a NEW appointment and pay the FULL service fee again**.
✅ **Dissatisfaction with colour, design, or artistic style IS NOT covered by guarantee and does not qualify for repairs or refunds.** These are subjective choices made or approved by you.
✅ If you report a problem immediately, we will attempt to fix minor issues on the spot — but this is a goodwill gesture, not an obligation.
9. Service Quality & Guarantee
✅ We work with maximum precision, under fully sterile and hygienic conditions. We never rush our work or allow others to pressure us — this is our professional standard.
✅ **BEFORE service starts: YOU MUST confirm the design, shape, colour, length, and finish. We will explain what is possible and what is not. Once work begins, NO CHANGES are allowed, and no complaints about “different from expected” will be accepted.**
✅ **Guarantee Terms — STRICTLY LIMITED**
We provide a **2-day guarantee only** against normal chipping, peeling, or lifting — **AND ONLY IF**:
- You followed every step of our written aftercare instructions exactly
- You did not rush us, pressure us, or shorten service time
- You arrived on time, and we had full, uninterrupted working time
- You did not bite, pick, or use nails as tools
- You protected nails from harsh chemicals and excessive water exposure
- You did **NOT** perform any work, filing, removal, or repairs on your nails yourself
- You did **NOT** intentionally damage, scratch, or break nails to create a complaint
✅ **WHAT IS NOT COVERED — NO EXCEPTIONS:**
- Any self-repair, filing, removal, or alteration at home or elsewhere: **GUARANTEE IS VOID IMMEDIATELY**
- Intentional damage or misuse to claim poor work: **NO GUARANTEE, NO COMPLAINTS ACCEPTED**
- Damage from your actions, rushing, pressure, or wrong aftercare
- Standard polish: by nature, it wears faster — no guarantee on longevity
- Complex, thin, or hand-painted designs: artistic work, not indestructible — no guarantee against wear or minor damage
- Any issue if you were late, interrupted work, or rushed us: **NO GUARANTEE APPLIES**
✅ **Repairs only**: Within the guarantee period, **one free repair** is offered at a mutually agreed time — no other remedies are available.
10. Health, Safety & Hygiene
✅ We follow the strictest UK hygiene and sterilisation regulations: all tools are fully sterilised or single-use, and all surfaces are disinfected between every client.
✅ **You must inform us of ALL allergies, health conditions, or skin sensitivities BEFORE service starts.** If you fail to disclose this information, **we accept NO LIABILITY for any reaction, irritation, or injury.**
✅ We will refuse service if nails or skin are infected, inflamed, or damaged — we will refer you to a medical professional.
11. Reviews & Reputation
✅ You may only publish truthful, factually accurate reviews and opinions.
✅ **Any review or comment containing false information, defamation, vulgar language, or content intended solely to harm our reputation without a factual basis WILL be reported to the police, Trading Standards, and relevant authorities as a violation of law.** Legal action will be taken where necessary.
12. Acknowledgement & Acceptance of Terms — NO EXCUSES ACCEPTED
✅ **Claims such as “I did not know about these Terms & Conditions”, “nobody told me”, “I was not informed”, or “I did not receive an email, SMS or message with reminders” are completely invalid and have NO EFFECT whatsoever on these rules.** When you book online, you are required to tick a mandatory checkbox where it is clearly and explicitly stated that by ticking this box, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all our terms, policies, and rules. **There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO DEFENCES** based on non-receipt of messages or lack of information. Our rules are clear, published, and equally enforced for every client — fairly and consistently for all.
13. Your Responsibilities
✅ Keep all personal belongings safe — we are not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
✅ Supervise children at all times (see Section 6).
✅ Respect our work, our time, and our calm environment: **NO rushing, NO pressure, NO arguing, NO standing over staff while working.**
✅ Do not modify, file, remove, or damage nails after leaving — this ends all our responsibility and rights to assist you.
✅ You are fully liable for hiding health issues or allergies.
14. Working Locations
✅ These terms apply equally whether you visit our studio or we provide mobile service.
✅ Fixed costs (rent, insurance, utilities) are incurred regardless of attendance — this is why cancellation fees are mandatory and non-negotiable.
15. Your Data
✅ We store your personal data only for booking and service purposes. It is kept secure and **never shared with third parties** unless required by law.
16. Changes to Terms
✅ We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version is always published at: www.tiptopnails.jena.site. Your continued booking confirms acceptance of the current version.
